Micro-grant Funds

The community council administers Micro-Grants with funding originating from Auchmore and SSE Fairburn wind farms. Application forms can be downloaded from

Completed forms should be submitted to the Community Council.

Fairburn Community Benefit Fund

The SSE Fairburn Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund makes larger grants to constituted groups. See SSE’s website for more details.

For Muir-of-Ord the annual fund is £5,000 and the maximum award is £1,000; applications should be submitted to the SSE Community Fund administrator.
